Week 8, Thing 18

Online productivity tools like Zoho Writer or Google Docs seem to work like Office Tools as far as what type of files you can create--slide shows, documents, spread sheets. Beyond that, there are so many other options that appear to be available--chatting, collaboration, group commenting. Alas, there is no online help on Zoho. Maybe my daughter can help me figure out some of the ins and outs of online productivity tools.

I agree--I looked back at my blog post on this week from last summer, I pretty much said the same thing. I think Zoho is a wonderful site, I just think Google is easier to use...Pretty soon I'll be using GoogleBankofAmerica, GoogleDryCleaners, GoogleCarRepair...

You are fortunate to have your daughter as a ready reference. Our students are a great source of information. We need to take advantage of their knowledge when using these new productivity tools.
